Conversion of an old mill into a home

An old water mill in a woodland clearing, facing a pond and bordered by a river. This idyllic setting will be the location of a future concierge service designed to house a single-family home. The building requires extensive renovation work in order to offer its occupants a modern level of comfort in terms of natural light, views, and energy efficiency. The proposal is simple : preserve the character of the building while opening up the house to its immediate surroundings. The entrance has been moved to the south gable for a better interior layout, providing an entrance hall with a cloakroom and bathroom, while the living areas have been opened up and opened to the outside. Upstairs, the original number of bedrooms has been reduced to create two beautiful bedrooms, a small office, and a bathroom.
